Gateway placement and traffic load simulation in sensor networks

Abstract Because of the wide variety possible application fields and spread smart devices, research wireless sensor networks has become an increasingly important area in last decade. During design these networks, several aspects have to be considered, for example lifetime network, expected battery usage, or robustness installed system. In this paper a simulation environment is introduced that enables testing different information spreading methods on network provides suggestions gateway placements with objectives.
